AAPI Women Lead and Tuff Love Self-Defense are partnering to offer a mutual aid fundraiser event: Intro to Safety and Self-Defense Workshop at Four Elements Fitness Gym. All proceeds from this workshop will go to support organizations working to support refugees and those impacted by climate crises.

Join us Sunday October 24, 2021, at 2:00 PM for our first in-person event: Intro to Safety and Self-Defense with Mollii Khangsengsing. Mollii is the first Laotian female black belt in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ) with 13 years of training, and the co-founder of Tuff Love Self Defense and Sweaty Betties BJJ that offers training with specialization in women’s and girls’ self-defense.

INTRO TO SAFETY & SELF-DEFENSE teaches awareness and preventative safety strategies. Students also learn effective physical techniques addressing the most common attack situations. These techniques rely on smart body positioning rather than strength, speed, or athleticism, anyone can learn the techniques!

Whatever your age, experience level, or athleticism, you can learn to safely diffuse or escape from dangerous situations. At the same time, you will develop confidence to assert yourself, set boundaries, and de-escalate potential conflicts.
