October Online Intro to Kickboxing
Thursdays, 5pm-6pm PT
Looking for a fun and practical workout during the pandemic? Intro to Kickboxing teaches the basic kicks and punches used in kickboxing as well as offering a fun and dynamic workout. Kickboxing is a perfect skill to begin in a remote setting because the basic movements are best learned through solo drills (shadowboxing) with no equipment or partner needed. Punches and kicks will be done in the air. This class will prepare you for future kickboxing or boxing classes, online or in-person!
This class can be taken in any indoor or outdoor space with a bit of room to move. There will be a small number of movements performed on the ground (e.g. stretches, sit-ups). Movements can be modified to accommodate for space limitations or injuries.
Intro to Kickboxing is taught by a female instructor with over fifteen years of training and teaching experience. Detailed feedback will be provided in a small class setting to get you started on your kickboxing journey.

- Exercises for cardio, strength and mobility

- Preparation for kickboxing group classes

WHO: Open to all genders. Instruction suitable for adults and kids ages 12+.
